Job Description:
Supervise TBM operations to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and monitor project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines.
Manage site activities, including resource allocation, logistics, and coordination.
Safety and Compliance:
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Promote a culture of safety among all site personnel.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical guidance and support to the TBM operations team.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to TBM equipment and operations.
Ensure proper maintenance and operation of TBM and auxiliary equipment.
Monitor TBM performance and take corrective actions as needed.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all tunneling activities meet quality standards and specifications.
Oversee quality control inspections and testing.
Address any quality-related issues promptly and effectively.
Resource Management:
Manage and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials.
Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Document any incidents, delays, or changes in scope.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Attend and contribute to project meetings.
Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.
