Job Description:
Design Engineer shall be capable of performing the analysis and design, drawings of Structural and Civil elements covering GIS & AIS Substations, GIS Buildings, Control Room Buildings, Transformer foundations, outdoor Gantry and Equipment Structures & foundations, Guard House, Staff Quarters, Site Grading, Roads, Storm Water Drainage and miscellaneous works for the completion of the Substation.
Design Engineer shall be able to review Vendor Engineering documents with respect to Civil & Structural Design with good knowledge of Steel Gantry Structures and Equipment Structures and Foundations. Also should be able to review the General Arrangement Fabrication drawings.
Should be familiar with design codes covering Indian and International codes / Standards. Should possess good knowledge of analysing the Site Conditions, Land Topography, Environmental conditions to arrive at optimum and cost effective solutions.
