The primary responsibility of this role is to design and develop Aerospace MSD (Mission System Division) Products to meet product requirements including safety, reliability, and conformance to standards
The candidate in this position is responsible for the successful execution of a wide range of Aerospace Mission Systems related projects, including New Product Introduction, VAVE, B&P, and Sustaining Engineering, while driving continuous improvement to meet project KPIs (Focus 5, NPI Efficacy), and ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction
Should have experience in Sustaining engineering, New Product Development (NPD) & Internal Research & Development (IRAD) programs preferably in the Aerospace industry.
Should have proficiency in mechanical and pneumatic design & drafting (CAD tools), GD&T & statistical tolerancing
Working knowledge of overall design engineering processes encompassing “Design – Qualification / prototype testing – Product Launch” is preferred
Candidate should have proficiency in preparing and managing schedules, risk management; good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with an ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and global stakeholders
