Job Description:
Review and approve drawings, specifications and technical documents for all civil, structural design and architectural related work.
Provide technical, full-time, on-site inspection of the progress and quality of the construction work performed and that it is completed in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Conducts regular surveillance and inspection of the work, monitor the implementation of the Vendors quality control program and coordinate field sampling and testing for verification of quality results as needed.
Overall planning and monitoring of resources, cost, material and machinery for various construction projects.
Managing project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of targets within the scope, time and cost parameters.
Providing the site team with the required look ahead schedule and progress update in order to meet the project schedule and planned milestones.
Conducts site meetings with various site personnel and contractors, peer representatives to update them on progress of construction and respond to queries.
Conduct risk assessment of the construction work and construction site and ensure safety standards are in line with company HSE policy.
Conducts optimization, feasibility and preliminary costing estimates for project modification and enhancements when necessary.
Ensure that state-of-the-art technology is applied throughout the engineering phase for cost effective solutions and application of value added engineering throughout the assigned works.
