Job Description:
Here the roles and responsibilities along with the job description will be understood:
Should be proficient in spreadsheet / Microsoft excel functions. Should have a good proficiency in reviewing and taking measurements/dimensions from AutoCAD drawing files and knowledge of Quantity Surveying Software.
Prepare measurement sheet from on-site data & drawings
Prepare quantity sheet from onsite data & drawings
Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) & bills with item rates from tender
Prepare & process subcontractor bills
To take the measurement from the site engineer
To get work done as per the protocol of the company
To follow up on the accounts department for payment
Cost analysis
Checking and certification of bills and invoices from vendors and contractors
Checking measurements, should be able to reconcile the quantities as per actual v/s consumption
Bill certification, should understand the bill of quantity as per the contract agreement
Preparing reconciliation statements.
Should have a thorough theoretical and practical/field knowledge of civil construction activities like RCC work, road and infrastructure work, building work, structural steel work, architectural and finishing items, plumbing and sanitary items, aluminum section work, etc.
