Job Description:
Operational and Equipment Excellence – maintain 100% availability of Utilities and ensure at least 99% availability of plant equipment. Uphold equipment reliability above 95%, meeting 100% SAP r/3 PMI and CBM compliances. Implement effective plant maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Safety, Risk Management, and Compliance – promote safety by ensuring one near miss report and BBS Observation per person daily. Aim for zero incidents in First Aid, LTI, MTC, and Cat 3+, maintaining 100% compliance with Legal, Statutory, and CAPA requirements maintaining an HSE Score exceeding 85%
Strategic Project Management – lead CAPEX projects annually, execute CIP/SGA initiatives, and introduce COE projects (AO/Innovation/Digitization) per employee per year to drive efficiency and innovation within the engineering department.
Plant Maintenance Management – Lead the plant maintenance strategy, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all machinery and equipment. Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely execution to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
People Development and Vendor Management -develop the engineering team with AO scores above 70% and high Individual Module Scores. Implement succession planning for critical roles. Maintain contractor scores above 90% and ensure timely payments to suppliers and service providers to support operational needs.
Provide strategic leadership and decision-making, drive initiatives, manage risks, and ensure operational excellence across engineering activities to foster continuous improvement and align with organizational goals for sustained growth
Qualification & Experience
The role holder must have minimum 12-to-15-year experience in any Maintenance function. With fair understanding on the organization safety standards and requirements.
The role holder must be from engineering graduate in mechanical or electrical background.
Asset Optimization in specific functional areas, with expertise in Plant Operations, and proficiency in technology tools such as SAP and Microsoft Excel are the general proficiency required
