Qualification: Degree In Electrical Mechanical Civil Engineer

Job Description:
Prepare project schedules using techniques such as CCPM, MS Projects, Primavera etc and implement the same at site.
Monitoring the timelines by regular reviews and preparation of various MIS/Dashboards for management reporting and ensuring timely closure of schemes in the system
Ensure Budget management by regular tracking and reviews with internal and external stake holders
Implementation of effective document management system for storing/sharing/maintaining documents/layouts/drawings of various projects across GWI
Coordinate with vendor partners, consultants, designers, and other stake holders for timely delivery of services and materials at site
Contract management to avoid cost overruns and ensuring timely billing of vendors with accuracy. Also maintain free issue items list as per standard
Should be aware of risks associated with projects and monitoring of the same using early warning indicators
Ensure statutory approvals required for project execution and commissioning
Ensure initiation and monitoring of improvement projects through SGA, SIP’s, Green Belt projects, DMAIC etc.
EOHS audit preparation
Other MIS & Weekly/Fortnightly management review reports to be updated.
SPOC for all legal & statutory documentation and coordination from E&P department for Wires Division.
Safety: Ensure that safe work practices & construction safety processes are followed as per Tata Steel standards. Ensure Zero harm in Project Sites.
Skills
Technical Competencies:
Should have competencies for Executing Planned/Daily & Shutdown Activities related to E&P activities.
Should be conversant in SAP/Easy Buy Processes. Knowledge of TPM/TQM
Should have adequate knowledge of Project Management Tools & Techniques.

Other details
Qualifications: Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Structural or any planning certification
Relevant Experience:
Project Planning, Execution & Monitoring experience.
Must have Engineering & Projects Experience.
Experience in document management and contract management
