Job Description:
Accountable for timely updation of all inspection records for inspection performed at vendor’s premises or at testing lab by self or through Third Party Inspection Agency (TPIA) for pressure equipment / piping bulk material / package units / structure etc.
Implement quality systems, procedure and inspection checklist for procured items (mechanical)
Ensure work allocation and planning for TPIA as per business process / requirement
Responsible for monitoring and reporting vendor performance and quality of purchased goods and services
Witness / report review of non destructive testing like RT / UT / MT / PT. Witness destructive tests at Lab or report review.
Witness final inspection and final testing of pressure equipment / piping bulk material / package units / structure etc. (i.e. mechanical items)
Ensure off-site quality inspection of key mechanical equipment (FAT) for projects
Peform review of material test certificates for raw materials / component etc
Peform review and approval of ITP , quality procedures submitted by site contractor / vendor.
Review WPS/ PQR and witness welder qualification test, witness PQR, witness welding inspection and perform tool box training (TBT) at site
Responsible for inculcating “”safety first”” behaviour in reporting to ensure “”zero safety incidents
Ensure reporting team is trained about all possible emergency scenario and equipped to handle it in safe manner
