Responsibilities:
Transformer DFMEA Management
Collaborate with transformer designers to identify potential failure modes and develop preventive design solutions
Conduct detailed work with failure and function trees in APIS, ensuring linkages to system-level failures and functions
Direct the development of Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (D-FMEA) for new products and maintain/update D-FMEA for existing products, integrating lessons learned
Planning and Preparation
Structure Analysis
Functions Analysis
Failure Analysis
Risk Analysis
Optimization
Design to Service and Documentation
Service Design: Ensure that all design aspects are optimized for serviceability
High-Standard Documentation: Maintain all service-related documentation to the highest standards
Qualifications
Bachelor / Master’s in Electrical / Mechanical / Similar specialization
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on transformers or heavy electrical equipment
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of transformer technical characteristics and performance metrics
Understanding of FMEA methodology, being primarily involved in development/maturation of Design-FMEA but also providing support/inputs to Process-FMEA
Knowledge of working in APIS FMEA tool
