Job Description:
Reviewing of technical specification of DCS cabinets and designing the cabinets to meet the customer specification
Designing best fit technical solution against customer specifications. Determining most technical appropriate and cost-effective solutions
Coordinating with customer and cabinet integrators (vendors) and estimation of hardware cabinets etc
Working towards giving best fit technical solutions for customer needs and strive towards making ABB most competitive in the market
Collaborating on project installation, commissioning and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors
Interacting with customers, contractors and suppliers, attends project meetings and presents all technical aspects of project assignments
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronic engineering discipline
More than 5 years of experience in cabinet designing or hardware engineering with lead capability
Work experience in Automation Proposals (DCS/ ESD/ FGS) for process industries
Having good knowledge in review of RFQ, understanding the scope, preparation of cabinet drawings (GA/IGA/Schematic/BOM)
Experience in preparation of deliverables – system architecture, bill of materials, general arrangement drawings, schematic etc
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
