Job Description – Engine Software Flash File Engineer :
As an Engine Software Flash file Engineer, you will be integrating the Performance and Emissions Calibrations with the Engine Controls Software that will be flashed on the Engine Electronic Control Unit. After the calibrations are integrated, the Flash file will be built and you will perform HIL validation to ensure the initial quality of the software and calibrations are good enough to go on an engine, by doing the basic checks and validating as per Caterpillar standard protocol test cycles.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Basic understanding of Engine Software Flash file validation process fundamentals
Collaborate with Application Leads and Performance Leads to ensure the right quality of the deliverables.
Adhere to the Production timelines
Recommend process improvement ideas where and when required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics.
3 – 6 years of relevant work experience
Strong analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Relocation is available for this position.
