Responsibilities:
Supervise operation and maintenance of electrical systems in the power plant.
Ensure smooth functioning of generators, transformers, switchgear, MCC/PCC panels, and other electrical equipment.
Monitor plant electrical load distribution and ensure stable and uninterrupted power supply.
Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities as per schedule.
Identify electrical faults, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely restoration of equipment.
Coordinate with operations and instrumentation teams for safe and efficient plant performance.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, including LOTO, PPE usage, and permit-to-work systems.
Maintain shift-wise reports, maintenance logs, and equipment performance records.
Support shutdown and startup activities of plant equipment.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in the electrical section.
Guide and supervise technicians and junior staff in daily maintenance activities.
Assist in root cause analysis of failures and implement corrective actions.
