Job Description:
- Planning of Ports & Harbors for various different types of Cargo Terminal including evacuation systems;Adherence with National/International Port Planning Norms and standard port operating procedures for evolving optimal facilities requirements;
- Preparation of overall Master plans/layout of Port/Terminals;L
- Preparation of Implementation schedule, phasing of development works
- Preparation of cost estimates and phasing of capital investment including operation and maintenance costs;
- Overall coordination of interface issues among various multi discipline requirements & project team management;
- Preparation of FR/ DPR for ports projects;
- Preparation of contracts documents for Breakwater, Jetties ,Capital Dredging Works & other associated facilities.
Key Skills Required:
- Excellent interpersonal skill, report writing skills;
- Ability to deliver and handle multi disciplinary interface issues;
- Define project parameters based on planning requirements;
- Well acquaintance with mathematical/simulation tools for planning and design of maritime projects;
- Should have prepared layout/master plan of Ports including Container/General Cargo Terminal/Dry & Liquid Bulk Terminals/Hydrocarbon Handling Terminals;
- Should be conversant with latest planning techniques used in today`s modern ports;
- Should have exposure to basics of Market demand and Financial analysis.
