Job Description:
- Support the Sales Manager during the sale processTake technical and commercial lead on sales projects including negotiating large projects after initial qualification done by Sales.
Present value proposition of JBT to the customer
Select the correct equipment configuration based on application
Provide Pricing and manage costing
Participate in exhibitions, seminars and customer events.
Following the Sale Process of JBT
Uphold process for Technical and Commercial reviews including Prospect Review and Pre-Negotiation
to ensure final solution proposed to customer
Ensure Sale margin
Ensure proper handover to the Project Manager at the end of the sales process
Application and knowledge building
Participate in customer’s product testing
Participate in Line startups and Commissioning
Participate in internal testing within the different FoodTechCenter of JBT
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in (electrical, industrial, chemical, mechanical or food engineering, food science).
- Experience in working in international environment communicating across multiple cultures
- Experience in working in food processing equipment supply chain
Experience in formalizing application/system documentations e.g. quotes, contracts, price list, knowledge sharing systems - Independent worker / planner.
- Be able to communicate to stakeholders and effectively inform and consult with
- Be able to track and communicate on progress
- Communicate clearly with international and local JBT stakeholders
