Job Description:
- Expert in testing as per IS 1293 & IS 3854 and other internal & International standards for electrical wiring accessories (Switches, Sockets, other electronics productsExpert in testing per IEC 60950, IEC 62368-1, IS 13252 standards for IT equipment (Adapter, Visual Display units)
- Well versed with other international testing standards e.g. IEC/EN/UL .etc. for electrical wiring accessories & other products
- Additional Experience in other electrical/electronic products like Automation products/MCB/MCCB/Switchgear would be advantageous
- Prior experience in managing the in house test lab and 3rd party test lab
Experience in the making test plan as per regulatory test standards and based on application /user need. - Experience in interfacing with design, engineering and manufacturing team at various stage of product development and provide quality input & product release
- Good understanding of lab testing equipment’s including the lab setup plans
- Good Knowledge of PPAP process & other quality tools
- Good communication skill and Ability to work in challenging environment
Should have involved in the complete product development cycle & Product quality in past.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the statutory/Regulatory standard requirement and prepare the test plan during the product development basically electrical wiring accessories and similar product categories
- Verify the prototypes and validate the products as per test plan
- Work with plant quality and corporate quality team to comply the product release process
- Work with BIS and other regulatory agencies for the latest advancement in the standards
- Work with design/engineering/manufacturing team to build quality requirement in the products.
- Work with the in house and independent test lab and product validation/verification testing
- Act us standard regulatory specialist to support the engineering design team
Manage the in-house test lab and inspection equipment’s for their working and calibrations - Network with external test laboratories for the product validation and testing
Manage the New & Existing product quality - Team Development & Coaching
