Job Description:
- significant material cost downs, payment terms improvement and Best Value Country sourcing objectives, as well as others.Collaborate with Global Commodity Managers and drive the cost reductions.
Manage all supplier relationships within assigned commodities, including globally. - Manage individual commodity/commodities. Performs supplier negotiations and determines most competitive total cost solutions.
- Understands Electronics Component Market and EMS supplier base thoroughly.
- Work closely with Engineering to influence technical design decisions to meet technical capabilities, cost, and business objectives.
- Develop a commodity / Supplier Strategy’s technology roadmaps, aligning business requirements with supplier capabilities.
- Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in quality, cost, service and technology. Regular BOM and Component Cost reviews.
- Good understanding on Cost Modeling
