Job Description:
- primary purpose of the role is to manage the Maintenance and modification projects for the plants.
Ø Ensure proper functioning Instruments & Software’s like DCS forØ Ensures smooth running of PLC system, SCADA system , EPSC system, weighing balances, flow meters etc. within the plants
Ø To ensure & maintained calibration schedule & to maintain proper quality records and history cards for Instruments of all the plants.
Ø To ensure & carry out preventive & breakdown maintenance of Instruments in time, to minimize downtime of equipment
Ø To ensure compliance to ISO 9000 / 2004 & EMS 14001 Standards in all activities related to Instrumentation on site.
Ø Execute and manage effectively breakdown and Preventive Maintenance.• Implementation of SOPs & work instruction
Ø To manage the project activities related to Automation / instrumentation within a designated plant within the agreed budget and the time frame.
Ø Conceiving and implementing modern maintenance techniques and having creative Zeal for New technologies.
Ø Update Instruments specifications / drawings and other
Ø Train technicians / Senior Officers on best practices of instrumentation and DCS Systems.
Ø Manage a team of 3-4 Executive (Engineers & technicians) and align them to meet the company objectives
Ø To see that the installation and maintenance of plant and equipment are carried out as per national / international / Asian Paints norms for installation standards, environmental protection and safety.
Ø To implement prevailing safety regulations within the department and help achieving reduction of accidents.
Ø Spare parts management for the designated plant.
Ø Monitor Automation & Instrumentation Section engineering HS&E compliance requirements for the plant and ensure they are met.
Ø CAPA and Root cause analysis to b don for each failure.
- Ø Follow all Documentation Management System like MOC, Procurement, Invoice Management Systems, Compliances
