Job Description:
- Hands-on knowledge of sensors and application of sensors, instrumentation & interfaces.
- Conceptualize the product and translate the requirements into CTQs for design
- Predict and quantify technical risks in the project
- Experience on full design life cycle projects in any two different magnetic designs
- Experience in functional testing magnetic components and qualify for mass production
- Knowledge on magnetic sensors & various magnetic sensing technologies
- Knowledge of materials such as Permanent Magnets, Ferromagnetic materials & shielding
- Knowledge of designing products for ASIL , Functional Safety Integrity Levels
- Knowledge on understanding analytical & numerical methods. Exposure in developing analytical or numerical based models
- Hand Calculations of Flux density, Magnetic force, Inductance, Capacitance etc
- Expert in atleast 1 and Proficiency in 1 of Ansys Maxwell 3D, Siemens MagNet 3D and FARADAY.
- Exposure in understanding CAD model/assemblies/tolerances of magnetic circuits
- Programming capabilities in Excel based VB scripts/C/C++ or Matlab
- Knowledge of design for EMI/EMC compliance
- Knowledge of Design for manufacturability, assembly & testing expertise
- Knowledgeable in usage of six sigma tools in projects
- Having cross functional expertise is an added advantage
- Should have strong communication skills
- Knowledge in 1st level magnetic sensors, Speed, direction and Position sensing technology would be an added advantage
