Job Description:
- BE / BTech In Civil Engineering
- Experience in plant & residential maintenance & projects
- Strengthening & repairing of plant building
- Roof sheet replacement work
- Building painting / protective coating
- Water Proofing of buildings
- Preparing & monitoring estimates, rate analysis, annual budgeting
- Utilization of manpower, material & Management techniques
- Contractor bill verification
- Implement daily maintenance jobs for stability of buildings, structures and other infrastructure
- Inform superior for technical requirements and order placements
- Check contractor bills for correctness
- Follow up with Stores & Purchase for timely availability of required items
- Gather data, identify weak structures of buildings and prepare estimate for the rehabilitation work in consultation with the Section Head
- Supervise the jobs for timely completion, measuring the quantum of work, etc.
- Execute maintenance activities of the buildings, structures & other required infrastructure of township
- Provide critical services like water supply, sanitary and drainage system to the residents as and when required
- Monitor and execute jobs done by workers on maintenance services like painting, carpentry, masonry, plumbing and sanitation
- Assist and work on improvement plans like development and beautification of parks hostels, guest house, gymnasium, mess etc.
- Execute/Implement project plans as per the schedule
- Maintain and follow efficient material management, proper inventory management, waste reduction, material reconciliation and proper utilization practices
- In consultation with the Section Head, control OT expenses through proper allocation of manpower and rigorous follow up of the jobs
- Recommend and ensure utilization of old but usable materials like wood, steel, pipes etc. to reduce cost
- Continuously supervise site jobs to check wastages
- Adhere to statutory compliance related to Safety, Health and Environment & Sustainability and systems like IMS, WCM and ISO
- Maintain a congenial work culture by effective communication with workmen both permanent & contractual
