Job Description:
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings given by customers
- § Clarify drawings by asking doubts where necessary. Identify and highlight missing information and discrepancies (if any)
- § Based on the final approved drawing, prepare Bar Bending Schedule (BBS)
- § In cases where customers send their own BBS, study them for feasibility and ask doubts where necessary. Identify and highlight missing information and discrepancies (if any).
- § Understand the capabilities and limitations of in-house Cut & Bend machines. Provide comments on BBS indicating feasibility of different shapes.
- § Check the quality of output before submissions to customer.
§ Participate in meetings to discuss and incorporate changes in BBS (if required).§ Coordinate with internal teams such as sales and production.
§ Obtain final approval for BBS from customer.
§ Using final approved BBS, prepare production plan through in-house optimization software, CUBE.
§ Manage client communications on drawings and BBS over email and phone.
§ Be systematic in documentation related to every project or order.

Qualifications & Prerequisites
§ Graduate in Civil Engineering or above.
§ Practical knowledge in construction of large infrastructure and buildings in India, especially with respect to TMT rebar.
§ Practical experience in developing BBS from drawings.
§ Proficient in using Microsoft Office software.
§ Working knowledge of using AutoCAD and similar software would be an advantage.
§ Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Tami
& PrerequisitesGraduate in Civil Engineering or above.
