Job Description:
- Supports product manager engineering, R&D for product development.Support product standardization, developing libraries, and tooling (in Eplan & Autocad).
- Identify project specials and coordinate that non-standard design.
- Perform electrical design calculation & design cabinets.
- Coordinate electrical design with other disciplines (Mech, Controls, IT etc)
- Support in the design of brownfield projects.
- Integrate design rules for safety and ergonomics in design
- Coordinate building interfaces (power, fire alarm system, cabinet locations, heat dissipation, safety, and security)
- Coordinate electrical interfaces for procurement items
- Coordinate power interface/requirements (power consumption, power quality requirements, power drop location)
- Advise and reviews projects in the sales phase (compliancy check)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Auto CAD and E-Plan – P8
- Design on PLC/ MCC/ VFD Cabinets in Eplan.
- Knowledge of Electrical component selection – CB’s, Starter’s, cable, terminals, busbar.
- Knowledge of creating macros in Eplan.
- Knowledge of Electrical and practical hands-on experience in Power and Control systems.
- Knowledge of automation system using PLC, IPC in industry.
- Knowledge of Electrical standards- IEC, UL, CSA, JIS.
- Knowledge of field bus technology Profibus, ASI, Profinet, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of detailed Power Calculation (Simaris), Cable Calculation, Heat calculation, Safety level calculation (Sistema).
- Knowledge of detailed electrical drawings, BOM preparation, Power distribution.
- Knowledge of creating cable trays, network, power layouts in Autocad.
- Knowledge of PLC/ MCC/ VFD cabinet testing.
- Knowledge of electrical installation supervision and electrical/Electro- mechanical commissioning at site.
- Basic XML programming knowledge will be an added advantage.
