Job Description:
- Organizing and chairing design review meetings with consultants and facilitating the value engineering of design consultants’ solutions.
- Working closely with the Statutory Team for coordination of Statutory approvals and ensuring the design meets the requirements of the local norms.
- Reviewing construction documents to foresee prospective site issues and resolving them on the drawing board with all the consultants involved.
- Preparing design brief, sharing it with architects / Design Consultants, and conceptualization of design as per the brief, ensuring the design efficiencies and compliance with local regulations.
- Hands-on Experience in working on BIM
- Closing coordination with the site team, architects, contractors, and all stakeholders involved in the delivery of projects.
- Creating design solutions through sketches, details, and others, to problems that occur during the construction process, keeping the design intent intact.
- Ensuring the design delivery schedule is in line with the project timelines, coordinating with the planning and strategy team. Working closely with the Project Control Team
- Maintaining the design intent and getting it translated through construction documents to shop drawings.
- Managing the contractor and consultant teams and following up with the in-house procurement team for quality checks.
- Coordinating with the cost management team for value engineering solutions to curtail costs, and checking bills of quantities prepared by the procurement team.
- Coordinating with principal designer, consultants, and vendors on shop drawings, RFI’s, design calculations, and methodology.
