Job Description:
- Technical validation of product engineering data / datasheet for products (like Copper cables, Optical fibre cables, connectors, Ethernet switches, cord sets, patch panel etc.)Adhere to PIM (Product Information Management) process guidelines and upload telecommunication/networking products on to the website through STEP software.
Collect product samples [or] reference images & co-ordinate with third party vendor for 3D images required in website.
Arrange technical data & co-ordinate with third party vendor for catalogue creation.
Create templates needed for product configurator by co-ordinate with product manager and IT team.
Convert Engineering datasheet into offline (manual) PIM format datasheet.
Capture all KPI for all PIM requests in the required format
Technical skills requirements
- The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
Telecommunication products like Copper & Fiber cables, connectivity solutions. - Interpret Technical Data sheet of products such as cables, connectors, patch cords, patch panels, Racks and Cabinets, Ethernet switches etc.
Technical standards for Copper & Fiber cables, Patch cords etc. - List of tests conducted on Copper & Fiber cables, Ethernet cables, Coax cables, Patch cords, Pigtails etc.
- Microsoft tools like MS Excel, MS Word
Soft skills – English (Spoken & written)
Nice-to-have skills - Knowledge of UL 444, UL 1277, UL 13, UL 758 is desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge of Adobe or Corel for drawing is an advantage but not mandatory
Experience of working on software like SAP, Oracle will be an added advantage.
Qualifications - Up to five years of work experience in industry like Cables & Wires, Copper & Fibre connectivity
Bachelors (Engineering) /Diploma in Electrical (or) Mechanical (or) Electronics (or) Physics - Preferred companies: Helu Kabel, HFCL, HTL, Finolex, Commscope, KEI, TE Connectivity, Lapp, Leoni, Aksh Optifibre Limited, Vindhya Telelinks Ltd.,
