Job Description:
- In conjunction with the GECIA Engineering Leadership and Senior Management team, identify target projects that focus on improvements in efficiency and alignment with our VTS team.Identify needs of the new processes, develop, agree, and establish project plans with real targets, timelines, milestones, and goals.
Manage projects through to completion, providing regular formal and informal updates to the senior management team & Stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with other GECIA competence. - Always seek a better way and remain open to change. Actively coach colleagues and other internal customers to accept change projects as progress.
- Measurement Criteria will be Transactional NPS, Adherence to timelines, No. of revisions to drawings, timely raising of red flags.
2. Work Planning and Mentoring
- Allocate work to the Design and Jr. Design Engineers based on criticality/ complexity of the task.
- Monitor the internal team and vendor’s adherence to SOPs; Provide technical guidance to the team.
- Provide inputs to the Project Leader on technical trainings; Share learnings from new projects with the GECIA Team.
- Guide the internal team and vendors on technical aspects of the project.
- Measurement Criteria will be no. of revisions to drawings
3. Status Reporting and Query Resolution
- Provide data to the Project Leader to resolve customer’s technical queries on assigned work area.
- Interact with customers for L1 – L3 projects and resolve their queries; Create weekly status reports to be shared internally and externally.
Update stakeholders on project progress.
Measurement Criteria will be transactional NPS, timely raising of red flags.
4. Quality Check
- Conduct quality checks of self and team’s output to achieve adherence to defined quality standards.
- Deliver error free outputs “FIRST TIME RIGHT”
Measurement Criteria will be no. of hours of rework.
