Job Description:
- Assure that the erection sequence and the installation inspection plan (Milestones) by Valmet are followed in the workAdvice the erection and installation work of subcontractors
- Assure that the subcontractors follow Valmet erection instructions and quality specifications.
- Arrange an installation inspection with the end customer at the end of installation to create a record accepted by Valmet
- Troubleshooting quality and engineering issues
- Progress and cost follow-up and reporting
- In addition you will assist the customer in logistics tasks
To succeed this role, you will need:
- Suitable technical education (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) and experience of similar tasks, preferably 5 years or more
We appreciate experience in paper (or other large-scale) industry and experience of mechanical installation supervision - Willingness to travel and ability to stay longer durations abroad (100-200 days a year). You are a team player who can easily adapt to different cultures and working environments
- Fluency in English, written and spoken. Other languages like Finnish and German are considered as an advantage
Positive and hard-working attitude, capability to make things happen
Excellent communication and interactions skills - You are familiar with basic IT-tools
