Job Description:
- The Design Engineer is responsible for design of new or existing prod
ucts, in line with planning, process, legal and quality targets.He/she must able to create complete engineering designs translated
in CAD models and creates all the associated documentation as per program requirements.
Principle Accountability:
- Candidates should have hands on experience in Automotive Interior Trim Design
(Upper & lower pillar trims, Trunk trim, Carpets etc) - Should have knowledge of interior interfaces & packaging requirements
Decide Mounting & fixing strategy
Communicate with the customer on day
to day activities.Should have knowledge related to design of Trim components & Master sections,
Should have knowledge of GD &T, Manufacturing process,
Should have knowledge of BOM management, DMU Management,
Tracking and maintaining detailed timing plans for the components/systems
Identification & Documentation of any non-compliances to design rules
Should be able to conduct/ Participate regular design reviews and escalate issues
requiring help to management - Should be able to communicate effectively with
