Job Description:
- You will assist McKinsey teams in various stages of their engagements, providing expert client service in the engineering, construction and building materials domain.Together with your research colleagues from around the world, you will deliver insights, analysis and expertise in the engineering and construction sector and building materials markets, working either directly with clients or McKinsey consultants. You will also contribute to or lead practice knowledge development initiatives that materially advance the firm’s ECB sector capabilities.
You will provide high-quality analyses and presentations that help deliver high impact to our clients. Over time, you will contribute to the further development of our team by coaching less experienced colleagues and helping to deliver training programs. You will also work more directly with our clients by playing a role on consulting teams as you become known for your expertise on select topics.
Qualifications
- Degree in business, economics, finance or civil engineering or degree in industrial or mechanical engineering will be considered; advance degree in a similar field is a plus
1+ years of relevant work experience with a major company in the ECB sector, alternatively consulting or financial services
Distinctive records of academic achievement in engineering or finance/economics
Demonstrated credibility in performance improvement, strategy/market analysis or operations
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
Strong team orientation; ability to work collaboratively
Professional attitude and service orientation
Work planning skills and proactivity in approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly - Fluency in English
