Job Description:
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering skills and independent judgementMust be able to prioritize and plan workload to adapt to changing priorities
Work with internal and external suppliers - Perform the design, analysis, evaluation, verification, and documentation of product design
- Design of sheet metal, weldments, plastics, and packaging
- Experience with or knowledge of IP and NEMA rated enclosures is a plus
Ability to read and understand mechanical schematics and specifications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) - Work efficiently with all other disciplined design teams
3d modeling software and 2d drawing creation preferred - Solidworks experience preferred
Coreldraw is a plus - Proficient on tools like DFM, RCA, FTA, GD&T, CTQ, etc
- Proficient with BOM’s, ECN/ECO, part specification, and part qualification processes
- Familiar with PDM processes
Support new product development and sustaining of current products - BS in Mechanical Engineering or related with a minimum of 5 years related experience
