Job Description:
1. Independently plan, execute and deliver multiple Sustaining projects for already commercialized products.
2. Revise and/or create product documentation (CAD files, BOMs) as part of workflows for Product Change Orders/Engineering Change Note (PCOs/ECNs)with high levels of technical rigor.
3. Work in synergy with global engineers to analyze and rationalize designs of components /assemblies for manufacturing and assembling requirements.
4. Organize and participate in global weekly calls to review and follow-up on projects
Skills
1. Strong fundamentals of mechanical engineering, solid mechanics, hydraulics and design principles
2. Real-world hands-on experience of SolidWorks for 3D modelling and 2D drawings
3. Exposure to database environment / PLM would be preferred
4. Plastic products- Design principles and Manufacturing process knowledge
5. Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability/ Design for Assembly
6. Experience in materials selection
7. Strong written & spoken communication skills to enable collaboration with global stakeholders
8. Proficient in Microsoft office tools to prepare and present technical documentation
